Position: Associate or Licensed Mental Health Clinician

(Hybrid Position) In Santa Barbara

Join our small group of clinicians with a mission to provide anti-oppressive treatment modalities to the community of Santa Barbara and surrounding communities of California with non-judgmental treatment style and eclectic approaches.

Requirements

  • BBS registration (AMFT, APCC, ACSW, LCSW, LPCC, LMFT)

  • At Least 2 years experience working in the field or similar field, 2 years experience working with children and adolescents

  • Some experience writing treatment plans, clinical assessments, and diagnosis

  • Works from an anti-oppressive and social justice lens

  • Ability work as part of a collaborative group and coordinate with other mental health providers

    in the community.

  • Ability to see 21 + clients per week

Desired Skills & Experience

  • Experience working with. various populations; LGBTQIA+, neurodivergent clients, clients of various cultural backgrounds

  • Experience completing documentation in community agencies or private practice settings

  • Experience running therapeutic and skills groups

  • Marketing and networking experience (not required will train!)

  • Comfortable with managing a large number of computer-based programs, platforms , application, websites  (e.g., Availity.com, CAQH, Drives and Clouds, Insurance portals Google Docs,  Simple Practice, Zoom etc )

  • Ability to work independently under the supervision of an LMFT or LCSW

  • Experience working with trauma - bonus if you are trained in EMDR, TF-CBT, brainspotting..etc

  • Excellent communication skills (written and verbal)

  • Passion for social justice, and providing equitable mental health care for our community

  • Willing to train, learn and grow with a new group practice of 12 clinicians and 3 supervisors

Job Duties and Requirements 

  • Ability to work 5-10 hours per week to start and build up to full time (30 hours per week)

  • Capability of working remotely if needed

  • Abide by Rose Wellness’s HIPAA policies and guidelines

  • Respond to clients in a timely manner and provide risk assessment when needed under the support of supervisor

  • Ability to complete documentation within 72 hours, Crisis documentation immediately after service provided

  • Complete initial consultation calls with prospective clients and discuss modalities used

  • Attend weekly group and individual or triadic supervision

  • Enter in appropriate and accurate CPT codes for insurance billing purposes

  • Engage in regular marketing in the style that is most comfortable to the clinician

Pay and Benefits 

  • $40-$45/ hour starting pay for associates and 60+/ hour pay for licensed clinicians with room to grow 

  • Sick pay worker’s comp insurance in accordance with CA labor law

  • 60 hours of unpaid time off when full time (21+ clients per week)

  • 18 unpaid holiday hours allotted per year

  • Health stipend of $300 per month offered when seeing 21+ clients/ week regularly

  • Paid marketing and some weekly admin time

  • Beautiful office space shared with team with snacks, coffee and tea

  • Access to free trainings, through CEU memberships as well as 2x per month ZOOM trainings

  • Ability to work from home with a flexible schedule

  1. Background check including reference checks, and a basic criminal background check
