You don’t have to have it all figured out to start feeling better, and you definitely don’t have to go it alone.…
I understand that getting started and showing up can be very overwhelming, especially when you are already not feeling your best. But in working together, we will develop and achieve your therapeutic goals in the safe and supportive container we build as a team. My role is to help guide your empowerment in your experience of growth, healing, and change.
Hello! I’m Ava…She / Her
My practice is grounded in the belief that we are all trying our best with the resources we have, and that therapy can help if there comes a time when it feels like those resources are no longer working for us. As a therapist, it is my privilege to guide clients toward locating new internal and external resources to create a more fulfilling and balanced life. I seek to create a warm and collaborative space to help my clients gain a greater understanding about the patterns they feel stuck in and make the changes they seek to make.
I am accepting new clients and offer in-person and telehealth therapy. I have experience working with those struggling with self-esteem, depression and anxiety, interpersonal conflict, trauma, grief, identity formation, and acculturation stress. I work with a range of populations, and I particularly enjoy working with young adults, children of immigrants, and couples.
Therapy is not one size fits all. I use an integrative approach, drawing from narrative therapy, CBT, psychodynamic, EFT, and attachment theories to form what best fits each client’s unique needs.
If it feels like I might be a good fit for you in your journey, I’d love to set up a 15-minute consultation call to get a better sense of where you are and where you hope to grow.
Current openings for telehealth and in person.
